Born in Southern California, Corbin grew up in Houston, Texas, before earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business. Corbin began his career at Cambridge Financial, where he served as a financial advisor and earned his Series 7 & 66. After learning the industry, Corbin transitioned from the Broker/Dealer model to a Registered Investment Advisor based in Phoenix & Southern California as a fee-only fiduciary Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager for a Tactical Tilt Growth Fund. Seeing an opportunity in the marketplace, Corbin founded Alpha Squared Capital as CEO, Portfolio Manager, and Financial Advisor. Taking a comprehensive outlook, Mr. Hixson seeks to provide meaningful advice to all of his respected high net worth and retail clients, including current and former executives, engineers, and associates across aerospace, petroleum and technology Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Hixson has held his Arizona Real Estate License since 2013. In his free time, Corbin is an avid golfer, loves to travel, spend time with his family, and give back to the community through his charitable organizations.
